Today Lindsay bought some stuff for making Invitation. She called me from Michaels and was so excited about finding some things to make her Invitations, so she bought it.
She got white,blue and silver paper, blue ribbon and some paper punches. She is so excited about starting this project.
She has all these ideals in her head I'm sure they will turn out beautiful.
Its alot of work but she will make it happen. Hopefully it will save some money and she can use it on something else.
I can't wait to see them done.

Went to see a wedding Venue
Well today is Wednesday and I haven'y updated this for a few days so here we go.
Monday Jan 17, 2011 Lindsay , Alex and I went to look at the A La Carte pavillion to see if it met all of the wants that Lindsay has. The weather was rainy and oh so crappy but we were all excited to go and check out this place, when we pulled up I kinda knew right away this was going to be a great trip and adventure. The place was beautiful. On the water a big huge building and lots of great picture opportunities outside even as it poured rain I could see the potential.
so we go inside and meet the lady who does all the marketing I can't remember her name but I can say she was really nice.
She went thru some pictures albums and told us all about the place and the options Lindsay had as far as food and room choices and so on. So we went to look at the place and fell in Love. This place is spectacular, It has everything Lindsay wants and more.
So at this point I think Lindsay has found her wedding and reception venue. All inclusive and I couldn't be happier. Its going to be beautiful. Now all we have to do is come up with the money, but I'm not going to worry God will make this happen It just feels right.
I can't explain the feeling that I have about this but I know everything is going to be beautiful, Lindsay will have a wedding planner, all the decorations she could ever want, and just a beautiful wedding. I can't wait....

Looking for Bouquets
January 12. 2011
Well today I spent some time looking through some bouquets that maybe we can replicate for Lindsays wedding. I seen a few on the Martha Stewart website that I posted on fb so lindsay could look at them. Ultimately of course its her decision. I just feel like I have to be doing something so thats what todays mission was.
I can't wait to see Lindsay this weekend. I have to hide her dress from Alex as he is coming with her for 4 days.
I really hope she makes a decision where shes going to have her wedding soon so I can see it, feel it, and well you know what I mean. I am the mother of the bride after all. I can't help myself.
She's going to make such a beautiful bride.
i'm also hopeing they get the color choices done soon. It so far is Blue and silver which is going to make for a beautiful winter wedding..

So today was bridal expo day at the downtown Hyat Regency.I elected not to go with the girls today although they said it was really nice and there was alot of people there. But I was not really in the mood to deal with alot of people today.
So now I have an Idea of what the food will cost a whopping $3000.00 approx.
All of the girls seemed a little tired today I guess from there night out dancing and having fun at the Bull last night.
Paul took us out to cracker barrel for dinner and then Lindsay and the girls left to go back to Gainesville. So now Lindsay and Alex need to set up meetings with the venue and the reception hall to look them over and decide if they are going to have the wedding in Gainesville. It seems to be cheaper up there on pretty much everything. So on to the next adventure I'm sure......

My mind is racing

I can't stop thinking about what else needs to be done to get this wedding planned. I know it will all get done but for some reason it seems to be over whelming right now tome.
Lindsay has a venue in mind at UF campus so I'm hopeing her and Alex will go check it out soon and get some prices for me. Then we have to find aplace for the reception.. I'm especially worried about the cost of the food. We were fortunate enough to not have to pay for the food at Mistie's wedding but this is gonna cost a bunch I'm sure. I'm hopeing they pick a place that does it all, decorating , food and cleanup.
I'm am going to leave this in Gods hands and pray it all works out..

Wedding dress day

Today we started looking for Lindsays wedding dress. Theres were 6 of us with Lindsay at her appointment at Jons Bridal. Ashley, Kelly, Courtney, Mistie, Karissa and I. The only one missing in her wedding party was Jessica. Lindsay tried on 4 dresses and ended up picking the second dress she tried on which by the way is beautiful. When she put in on for the second time with her hairpiece and veil she knew and immediately started crying along with every one else that was there. It was magical moment that I will never forget.
So we buy the dress, headband and veil. It has to be ordered in white so we will pick that up later. The dress fits perfectly so at this point needs no alteration.We are so excited about Lindsay and alexgetting married.
Tonight Lindsay and all of the girls are going out to the Dallas Bull in Tampa. I will update tomorrow andlet youknow what happens.
